Custom manufacturing aids, on your line in days.

Jigs, fixtures, gauges and grippers keep production lines accurate and efficient. Quick 3D 3D prints custom manufacturing aids in carbon-fibre composites, engineering plastics and ESD-safe materials — faster and lighter than machined tooling. Made in Shah Alam, Selangor, for factories across Malaysia.

3D printed carbon-fibre composite fixture

Manufacturing aids we make

Assembly jigs

Guides and locators that put every part and hole in exactly the same place.

Holding fixtures

Fixtures shaped to your part for machining, gluing, assembly and testing.

Inspection and CMM workholding

Repeatable fixtures and check gauges for quality control.

End-of-arm tooling

Lightweight robot grippers and custom fingers. See our EOAT guide.

Nests, trays and carriers

Hold and move parts between stations — including ESD-safe trays for electronics.

Wear parts and guides

Rollers, guides and brackets that keep equipment running.

Recommended processes

FDM

Carbon-fibre nylon and continuous carbon-fibre composites for stiff, lightweight fixtures.

ESD-Safe Materials

ABS-ESD7, PETG-ESD, PA612-ESD and ESD Resin for electronics lines.

MJF & SLS

Durable nylon for complex fixtures, nests and repeat batches.

High-Temperature Polymers

PEEK and ULTEM™ PEI for fixtures near heat sources.

Metal

Stainless steel and aluminium for high-load or high-wear tooling.

Tooling Design

We design jigs, fixtures and tooling around your part.

Why factories choose Quick 3D

Lighter and shaped to the part

Printed tooling follows the exact contour of your part and weighs far less than metal.

Fast lead times

FDM fixtures in as little as 1 day; SLS, MJF and metal parts in as little as 7 days.

Inspected and protected

Every order is dimensionally and visually inspected, and we sign NDAs to protect your designs.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a jig and a fixture?

A jig guides a tool — for example, a drill guide. A fixture holds and locates a part while work is done on it, such as assembly, machining or testing.

What materials are best for 3D printed fixtures?

Carbon-fibre reinforced nylon and continuous carbon-fibre composites are popular for stiff, lightweight fixtures. ESD-safe grades suit electronics, and PEEK or ULTEM™ PEI suit high temperatures.

Are 3D printed fixtures strong enough for production?

For many applications, yes — especially with metal inserts or bushings where wear is high. For very high loads, metal 3D printing or machining may be better.

How fast can I get a fixture?

FDM fixtures can be ready in as little as 1 day; SLS, MJF and metal parts in as little as 7 days.

Can you design the fixture for me?

Yes. Send the part CAD or a sample and tell us how the fixture is used, and our design team will create it. Read more in our jigs and fixtures guide.

Need tooling for your line?

Share your part CAD, drawing or a sample. We’ll recommend the material and process — or design the fixture for you.
